Sunny country of Turkey, namely in the city of Side

It’s all about the roads
In our country, this is one of the main problems. In the same place it is a pleasure: no pits, the markings are bright, the signs are in the right places. But such roads are only basic, you will only turn aside to some hotel and this beauty will be replaced by roads that are very similar to ours.
In the spring of this year, life threw me into this sunny country of Turkey, namely in the city of Side.
Well, okay, back to the good roads, even if you are not a driver, you still understand that riding on such roads is not difficult and does not require strong skills. Nevertheless, accidents on Turkish roads are no less than ours. For me, still a mystery why so. While I was enjoying the road from the passenger seat, I looked out the window and the first thing I saw almost everywhere was garbage.

Garbage
Everywhere on the dividing strip, on lawns, on the sidewalks it was dirty, there were some pieces of paper, cigarette butts, plastic bottles, although there are bins.

I communicated with the driver on this topic, and it was at this very moment that he was smoking another cigarette and threw a cigarette butt out the window with the phrase “Everything is fine”, then I realized that I practically had everything.

Exchange Rates
When I arrived at my hotel, the driver helped me with my suitcase, I had to pay for transfer services, the cost was 30 Turkish liras, and I just arrived and I didn’t have a good deal with myself, I said I’ll pay in dollars, ( When I went there, I looked at the dollar rate to the Turkish lira and knew what it was for: at that time the rate was 1: 3) and I pull out and give the driver $ 10 for a non-complicated mathematics, but I hear an objection that the passage is $ 11.

I don’t feel sorry for one dollar, but the thing is different, that they just arrived, and they tried to deceive me already. I politely explained that I know what course now, the driver silently took the money to my objections, smiled and kindly said goodbye to me.

In the hotel
In the hotel, everyone treats you well, of course you pay money to them. Turkish men almost immediately try to give you time, to flirt, get to know you better, etc.
In the spring of this year, life threw me into this sunny country of Turkey, namely in the city of Side
Turkish women look at you with a touch of envy and at the same time with charity. And if suddenly you spit in türk kahvesi (Turkish coffee), be sure that this is a Turkish woman – the bartender. Of course, they hate us, because our ladies come and rest with their men (note that this is the end of it)

If you leave the waiter / bartender for tea, he is ready to blow off the dust particles from you. The same applies to cleaning the room, in general, tip doing incredible things.

Shopping
Popular for the beautiful half theme shopping in Turkey.
If you come to rest, you initially save money to go shopping, then you should not go to the proposed tour operator shopping.

As practice has shown, you are taken to stores that are designed for tourists solely to make money on you, since you have no choice.

In order to avoid this, I talked to the animators, they go there for a long time there and on their day off for shopping, they told me where they are and how to get to the shopping center or the street with shops.

I went, I spent as much time as I needed, and I went to the shops that I needed. Bargaining is appropriate everywhere and they are always inferior.

Tours
Very controversial issue. By the way I faced two situations. I succumbed to the persuasion of the guide and decided to go on a tour, everything was not as colorful as it was described and many moments were missed, and these moments turned out to be paid. And the second time I bought an excursion on the street, it was twice cheaper, it was scary to go, but nevertheless everything was quite good, but it was good that all such tourists were many, and some of them were male.

And so I will tell you, it is very scary, Muslims are all the same.

From excursions I would advise:
1) Pamukkale
2) Swimming in the Blue Canyon
I would not lead children to a pirate party on the ship, it is better to leave the kids club, they are much more fun there.
But do not forget to visit the ruins of the temple of Apollo, that’s where it is very beautiful.

And finally I will quote William Burroughs: “It is not necessary to live, to travel is necessary,” for this I wish you good luck to travel and enjoy!
